The essence of our being as social beings is to be compassionate and merciful.

Doing good, giving a helping hand, and supporting anyone in need are who we were created to be.

Being kind is not something we learn from our religion, society’s beliefs, or community obligations. It is who we are.

About Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday is the global day of giving. Often described as the global generosity movement, it is held each year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving.

Giving Tuesday encourages people to give back in whatever way they can.

It presents nonprofit organizations with the chance to raise even more money than they would on an average giving day, which is why many organizations create unique campaigns to participate in this day of giving.

History of Giving Tuesday

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that inspires and encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that motivates millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
